Entry Procedures
ONLINE SUBMISSION
The 2025 Business Excellence Awards consist of online submissions; materials must be submitted by 5:00pm, March 16, 2025.
If you foresee a conflict meeting this deadline please contact us at 807-624-2626. Once the deadline has passed no further submissions can be uploaded.
NOMINATION
Submit a nomination using this form: https://thunderbaycc.awardify.io/nominate.
- Enter the nominee information - self nominations are accepted.
- Select the category and provide a brief reason about why this nominee is deserving of the Award
- Enter your information as the nominator
All nominations will be reviewed and verified. Verified nominees will receive an email with the next steps.
ENTRY COMPLETION
- Entrant accounts are created on behalf on the nominees. If their nomination is verified they will receive an email with instructions to log into this account and complete the entry/entries that are available.
- Entries must be completed by 5:00pm, March 16, 2025 to be eligible for an award.
- After this deadline, the committee reserves the right to extend the deadline for a SPECIFIC category and solicit additional entries in the event that there are less than three entries from a minimum of two companies in the category in question
FINAL NOTES
- Thunder Bay Chamber reserves the right to disqualify incomplete submissions without notice
- Acceptance of nominations and submissions received is at the discretion of Thunder Bay Chamber
- Thunder Bay Chamber reserves the right to realign categories due to volume of entries. If this process should take place, entrants will be notified
- If there are fewer than two entries in any category, Thunder Bay Chamber reserves the right to eliminate that category from the competition. Refunds will be given to those who have entered a cancelled category
- All entrants agree to be bound by these rules
JUDGING PROCESS
Judges will bring their professional experience and unique perspectives in deciding which companies deserve top-ranks and coveted awards in each category. Judges will review the submissions, and rate the work against provided criteria through a private, online system. Online judging will take place from March 18 - April 1, 2025.
Judging criteria are listed with each category description. The judging panel is comprised of individuals who are knowledgeable and aware about the building industry. All entries are scored based on judging criteria.
